CALIBRO 35 is a supergroup of musicians featuring Tommaso Colliva, Fabio Rondanini, Massimo Martellotta, and Enrico Gabrielli, all of whom have collaborated over the years with major artists such as Iggy Pop, Rokia Traoré, Muse, Stewart Copeland, Afterhours, Diodato, and countless other projects.
After their Scacco al Maestro experience—two albums dedicated to the extraordinary work of Ennio Morricone, brought on tour with Calibro 35 Plays Morricone—and their original soundtrack for the hit TV series Blanca on Rai 1, it is finally time for CALIBRO 35 to return to making their own music.
Between soundtracks, special projects, expanded lineups, and diverse musical explorations, their latest album, NOUVELLE AVENTURES, released last May under Virgin Music LAS (Universal Music Italia), marks a long-awaited return to the true essence of CALIBRO 35.
This record showcases the full range of skills and experience the band has cultivated, refined, and enriched over the years, bringing back the signature Calibro sound—a unique instrumental fusion of funk, progressive rock, alternative jazz, and cinematic music—the very style that has defined their 15-year career and made them stand out to audiences worldwide.
