THE CRAFTSMEN OF SOUND - Archi Hall
Ivano Becciu Naiely – Giampaolo Solaris
Craftsmen of ancient and shamanic musical instruments
Construction, exhibition, and sale
Ivano Becciu Naiely and Giampaolo Solaris, artisans and musicians, will welcome the public to their exhibition and workshop corner where visitors can observe the construction of ancestral instruments such as the didgeridoo, drums, flutes, and rattles, and listen to their sound in a direct dialogue between matter and vibration.
A researcher of well-being through sound, Giampaolo Solaris explores vibration as a therapeutic tool. From the grain of wood to cellular modulation, his work brings to light the power of wind channeled: a sound that heals, reveals, and transforms. Craftsman of ancestral and shamanic instruments,
Ivano Becciu Naiely leads sound experiences in the sacred places of Sardinia. Last year, he released “AbbA de Amore”, his first album of medicine music in the Sardinian language, an expression of spiritual connection and cultural roots.
The nineteenth Karel Music Expo is made possible with the contribution of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia – Department of Public Education and Department of Tourism, the Fondazione di Sardegna, and the Municipality of Cagliari – Department of Culture, with the collaboration of Moby/Tirrenia, Centro Scuola Pirandello, Factory, Fondazione Siotto, Le Officine, Cooperativa 2003 Sant’Elia, Maison Savoia, THotel, Esibirsi, Rete dei Festival, Rock The South, Form Resonance, Diversamente Onlus, Trip Sardinia, Convivium, and Birroteca Fermentazioni Spontanee.
