The “Il Violino” Instrumental Group Association has been active since 1999 with the aim of creating and spreading not only their own contemporary music but also traditional and ethnic Sardinian music, transcribed or arranged for various unique ensembles.
The group has performed in various instrumental formations and musical genres during several cultural events. The program for the concert “Per un pugno di note: tribute to Ennio Morricone” features the Association performing as a chamber duo, with Davide Pais on violin and Antonella Chironi on piano.
The concert aims to be a tribute to the Maestro Ennio Morricone, legendary composer, arranger of music for cinema and television, and creator of orchestral light music.
