Giacomo Deiana

A blind singer-songwriter and guitarist from Cagliari, he won the Lennon Festival in Catania in 2006, awarded by Niccolò Fabi, and was also a finalist at the Premio Donida in 2016. In 2017, he released his first solo album titled “Pochi istanti prima dell’alba“. He has collaborated with singer and composer Rossella Faa, with whom he has recorded three albums (“Baa-bà”, “Sighi-singin'”, and “Bella bella”) since 2007, and is currently involved in the show “I miei primi cinquanta principi azzurri”.
He has worked with various musicians and artists from the island’s music scene, including Balentes, Stefania Secci-Rosa, Gianfranco Fedele, Elio Turno-Arthemalle, Teatro Dallarmadio, Teatro del Segno, Teatro Impossibile, as well as Andrea Andrillo, Giuliana Lulli Lostia, and Genoese singer-songwriter Max Manfredi, who all participated in his second solo album, “Single“, released in 2019 by RadiciMusic Records.
His most recent project saw him involved as guitarist and composer for the ensemble Paraulas, with which he performed in various theaters on the island and at the Casa del Jazz in Rome.
