The Big Self is the essence of detachment, the unconscious soul that concretely manifests itself through sounds and electronic thought flows, along with Arabesque reminiscences. It transforms authorial music into epic images, sometimes claustrophobically and psychically dark, drawing inspiration from the mantric nature of esoteric thought as well as from the pop world, understood as an immediate communicator.
It is brought to life by the infinite possibilities that a sampler can offer to the sensitive minds of Paolo Messere and Matteo Anelli, both founding members and musicians of Blessed Child Opera and Ostara’s Bless. Their first self-titled album was released in March 2023, and now the band is on tour, aiming to make themselves properly known to a larger audience.
