A wall of sound, sculpted by fuzz guitars and pulsating basslines, where the abstract and the defined merge through sinuous harmonies, ethereal vocals, and electronic textures. A special musical encounter between Lilies on Mars and composer and sound designer Stefano Guzzetti—a synergy that has recently taken on significant creative depth in their respective artistic processes, shaping a new sonic dimension, track after track, in a remarkably short time.
Formed by Sardinian musicians and composers Lisa Masia and Marina Cristofalo, Lilies On Mars have released five albums, toured across Europe and the United States, and collaborated with various artists, including Franco Battiato and, more recently, Malian griot Baba Sissoko.
A film score composer and beyond, Stefano Guzzetti records under the prestigious Mute Song Ltd. in London. His extensive collaborations include projects with Deutsche Grammophon, Dolce & Gabbana, Einaudi Editore, Sky Arte, and Lisa Gerrard (Dead Can Dance). He is currently producing the new album by director and graphic novelist Igort.
