Although the four “dodo” members come from very different artistic backgrounds, it was the night they found themselves playing together as a band that sealed their fate: that’s when they came up with the name, as the band was supposed to “go extinct” the following day. But that didn’t happen, and thanks to a growing artistic harmony, they decided to stay together and release their debut EP “San Domenico” in 2023, dedicated to the patron saint of the little square where they spend their days and nights. Pursuing a sonic exploration that expresses a hybrid of hip-hop and indie pop influences along with singer-songwriter inspiration, after releasing a handful of singles between 2023 and 2024, they announce the arrival of their first LP “75 idee”, available on Spotify. The dodo are: Luca Grasso (bass), Luca Losengo (drums and vocal), Emanuele Carta (synth and vocal) ed Enrico Marongiu (guitar and vocal).
