I DORIAN GRAY SARANNO L’UNICA BAND ITALIANA IN CARTELLONE AL FESTIVAL DISCOGRAFICO PIÙ IMPORTANTE DI TUTTO IL NORD AMERICA, DOVE PRESENTERANNO IN ANTEPRIMA MONDIALE IL NUOVO ALBUM “MOONAGE MANTRA”, IN USCITA AD OTTOBRE.
I DORIAN GRAY saranno l’unica band italiana al Canadian Music Week.
Selezionati fra le numerose proposte da tutto il mondo, i Dorian Gray saranno l’unica band italiana presente al più importante festival nordamericano di musica e arti contemporanee, che oltre a 1000 concerti in 8 giorni in più di 64 venues, propone anche gli awards in diverse categorie, meeting e conferenze sul futuro di cinema indipendente, teatro e altre discipline di stringente attualità.
La band cagliaritana composta da Davide Catinari, Samuele Dessì, Nico Meloni eJacopo Vannini suonerà al Cherry Cola, uno dei più celebri club di Toronto, Sabato 7 maggio, con inizio poco dopo la mezzanotte.
Il Canadian Music Week presenta sul proprio sito la band con queste parole:
“Dorian Gray, the double life of a cult band, nihilists rockers in the “cursed” nineties and the twilight singers in the 21st century, tormented souls who have gone through two decades of music marked by an strong originality difficult to imitate.
Seven albums and hundreds of concerts in Italy and abroad, some important prizes and awards define the history of this musical project, led by David Catinari since 1989.
European first rock band in mainland China, noticed and loved by italian writer Fernanda Pivano, Bob Dylan’s main translator in Italy, for the songwriting inspired by Ginsberg. Dorian Gray is by now a solid truth in the field of noir flavored music, appreciated by critics and by those who consider imagination the last frontier to cross to be themselves.
The new album, Moonage Mantra, will be released on Autumn 2016.”
